Are you ready to try some cake? Surely it's the most delicious part of the wedding cake process!
Take a look at my selection of both classic and premium flavours. I pride myself on baking moist, light mouth-watering cakes using only the finest quality ingredients; including British butter and locally sourced Sussex organic eggs.
All wedding cakes are filled with an American buttercream and coated with chocolate ganache then finished in either ganache, Swiss meringue buttercream or fondant.
I also offer a selection of gluten free and vegan cake flavour options. Please contact me to discuss your dietary requirements and we can talk though the options of how this might best work for you and your wedding guests.

Light vanilla sponge layered with a seed raspberry conserve and Madagascan vanilla bean buttercream

Moist chocolate fudge cake layered with a Madagascan vanilla bean buttercream
LEMON & ELDERFLOWER
Zesty lemon sponge cake layered with a homemade lemon curd and delicate elderflower buttercream
CARROT, ORANGE & WALNUT
Moist light spiced carrot cake, with orange zest and walnuts, layered with a cream cheese buttercream.
BLACK FOREST GATEAU
Rich chocolate cake filled with a whipped cream vanilla bean buttercream, Kirsch* cherry conserve and chocolate shavings (*contains alcohol)
PISTACHIO, RASPBERRY & ROSE
Nutty and light pistachio sponge cake layered with a seeded raspberry conserve and floral rose buttercream
COCONUT, PASSIONFRUIT, MANGO & BLACK SESAME
Fluffy coconut cake filled with a black sesame buttercream and passionfruit and mango coulis
SPICED GINGER & WHITE CHOCOLATE
Spiced sticky ginger cake layered with a decadent white chocolate buttercream
WHITE CHOCOLATE, STRAWBERRY & THYME
Rich white chocolate and thyme cake layered with a strawberry conserve and white chocolate thyme buttercream
Soft vanilla cake sprinkled a coffee syrup then layered with a Marsala* mascarpone buttercream and chocolate espresso ganache (*contains alcohol)
VANILLA BEAN & SALTED CARAMEL & TOASTED HAZELUT
Light Madagascan vanilla bean sponge cake layered with a vanilla bean buttercream, homemade salted caramel and crushed toasted hazelnuts
Birch House Bakery is not an allergy-free kitchen and therefore unfortunately cannot guarantee that products are free from ingredients that may affect those with food allergies. All products are made in a kitchen that handles nuts.

Wow! My wedding cake was absolutely out of this world! I went for a non-traditional blue cake with two flavours and it not only looked incredible, it tasted amazing. It went down a storm with the guests with everyone saying how fantastic it was.
