HOW TO ORDER A WEDDING CAKE

I welcome you to taste some cake and chat about some beautiful design ideas, then leave the rest to me.
You can feel confident in the knowledge that I will personally guide you through a seamless process from your initial enquiry through to delivery on your wedding day.
Below I set out some of the key steps we take to realising your perfect cake.
CHECK YOUR WEDDING DATE IS AVAILABLE
Please submit an enquiry to see if your wedding date is available and tell me a bit about your wedding and ideal cake style.
I recommend you book your wedding cake at least 9-12 months prior to your wedding to guarantee availability of your date.

SECURE YOUR DATE WITH A DEPOSIT
Now your wedding date is available and you are happy with your guide quote it's time to secure your wedding date in my diary. I will send you your booking form with my deposit details of £150. You will also receive a copy of my terms and conditions to take a look through.
You can feel confident that your date is now booked and the tasting, planning and design can begin!
WEDDING CAKE TASTING BEGINS!

Go ahead and order a wedding cake tasting box online at any time - even before your commit with a deposit. The luxury cake tasting box includes six delicious pre-chosen flavours to sample in the comfort of your home.
Make sure to check availability of your wedding date first.
LET'S DESIGN YOUR CAKE
We will schedule a convenient time for a Zoom consultation where together we imagine your perfect wedding cake.
We will go over design ideas, cake size and flavours as well as the presentation of your cake on the day.
Afterwards you will receive a digital sketch of your wedding cake to approve. This may also include a mood board to capture the colour, design, textures and style elements of your wedding cake.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Several months before your wedding I will contact your wedding venue to arrange a delivery time for your cake.
I will also liaise with any relevant suppliers such as your planner, stylist or florist. If you choose fresh flowers on your cake I will discuss these with your florist and personally dress the cake on the day at your venue.
Six weeks before your wedding date I will be in touch to confirm all the details with you. At this point the balance of your wedding cake is due, which you will receive as an invoice. This will include the deduction of your deposit.
WEDDING CAKE DELIVERY
Relax on the morning of your wedding day while behind the scenes, and before the arrival of your guests, I will deliver and set up your wedding cake.
If you are hiring one of my cake stands I will bring this with me and present and style your cake beautifully. A cake cutting guide and allergen chart will also be left with your caters.
