Erin from Birch House Bakery

Hi, I'm Erin and I founded Birch House Bakery in 2016 after deciding to stay at home to look after my first son Henry. 

I come from a family of keen bakers and have fond memories as a child of my mum baking most weeks - Delia's Layered Lemon Cake was a family favourite! 

I love knowing that cake brings families and friends together in celebration and song. I'm passionate about creating beautiful and delicious centrepieces for your special day.

I'm mostly self taught; working from my country kitchen in West Sussex with glorious views of my garden.

Adopting an elegant, clean style I love to use fresh and dried flowers and foliage to add beautiful finishing touches to a cake. I believe that a cake should taste as good as it looks and offer a selection of unique and classic flavours.

I'm also trained in macaron making so you'll see these frequently appear in my cake design. Knowing how tricky these can be to master I also offer macaron making classes from the comfort of my country kitchen. Why not join me?
